Basin Recreation is offering Baseball & Softball clinics instructed by Park City High School coaches and players with a focus on skills, drills, and fun. Held on Saturdays: April 27, May 4, May 11. Park City Recreation is launching the Youth Recreation Advisory Board (YRAB) and invites students aged 14-18 to be part of this exciting initiative. The YRAB board will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of recreational activities, programs, and facilities for youth in Park City through monthly meetings. Mark your calendars for the week of Monday, April 15th through Saturday, April 20th when Park City Library will not have Storytimes, clubs, or crafts in either English or Spanish. Join Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter for their annual cleanup of Kimball Junction and the Preserve! Volunteers will head to locations all over Kimball Junction. If not removed, much of this garbage ends up on the Swaner Preserve which can be dangerous for wildlife and detrimental to the functions of the wetland. Coffee and light snacks will be provided by generous neighbors, Bartolo's, and all volunteers who participate in the Earth Day Cleanup are entered into an opportunity drawing for fun prizes and gift cards from local sponsors!

Snow is vital to life on earth. This hands-on science exhibition is about the nature and wonder of snow and the impact of climate change on our planet. The interactive and exhibition follows snow’s journey from tiny crystals to winter landscapes to spring snowmelt. Kimball Art's exhibit "Under Construction" will be open from March 8-May 26 from 10:00-5:00 pm. The exhibit brings together the work of two renowned built landscape photographers. Lewis Baltz (1945-2014), captured Park City's rapid growth in the late 1970s as his images of Prospector Park describe its dramatic transformation from a former mining town into a thriving ski resort. Artist Rodrigo Valenzuela in his series American-Type, responds today to Baltz's work. For more information, go to kimballartcenter.org
