In its best finish ever, the PCHS Academic Decathlon Team came home from the National Championships with a 2nd place finish in its school division. Head Coach John Krenkel has more.

Founded in 1980, KPCW public, not-for-profit radio, serves Summit and Wasatch Counties in northeastern Utah with the only daily source of local news and information plus national and international news from National Public Radio, Public Radio International and the British Broadcasting Corporation.
In-depth local news and information plus NPR's Morning Edition can be heard from 6am to 8am with local news updates at noon, 2:04m and 3:04pm. From 8am to 9am Blair Feulner hosts the "Local News Hour". KPCW's locally produced "Midday Utah" is on from 9am to 10am. From 4pm to 5pm KPCW airs "All Things Considered" together with local news, interviews, and information. For the latest in business news tune it at 6:30pm for PRI's "Marketplace." KPCW also features the Triple A music format (Adult Album Alternative) a mix of adult alternative, rock, and classic rock midday's and evenings.
KPCW's founding mission: "To be a quality source of local news, information and public affairs that holds local elected officials accountable."
