Salt Lake Man Ejected From Motorcycle In Lambs Canyon

Utah Highway Patrol

Last evening a Salt Lake man was ejected from his motorcycle when he lost control in Lambs Canyon.

The 63-year-old Salt Lake resident was traveling west on I-80 on a motorcycle pulling a trailer. Witnesses say the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic before losing control.

The motorcycle went left and right several times before ejecting the rider off to the left side ditch. The motorcycle continued for several hundred feet more before stopping in the road.

The driver was transported to the U of U Hospital in critical condition with head trauma by air ambulance. The rider was not wearing a helmet.
