More than 2,000 Affected By Power Outage In Park City Monday Night

Around 8:30 Monday night the power went out for 2,083 people in the 84060 zip code.

More than 1,500 had their power restored by 9:50 p.m. And all residents had power again by 10:30 p.m.

David Eskelsen with Rocky Mountain Power says the power went out because of a car accident. While it’s unclear what exactly happened, he says the car likely hit a pole or some sort of equipment on the ground.
