Community Engagement ManagerGrowing up in the Canadian Rockies, Amber’s earliest memories were of riding chairlifts in subzero temperatures. Her first post-college gig was reporting Ski Utah's glorious snow totals on the radio as the "Craaaaazy Canuck” and she is thrilled to return to her radio roots at KPCW.
She spent the last 20 years building Colorado’s first and largest online community for moms where she won the Colorado Associated Press Editors and Reporters Association "Online General Excellence" award. She is a former Denver Post columnist, publicist in the tourism and non-profit industries and a longtime adventure travel writer. She is most passionate about community building, storytelling and positivity emanating.
Amber has two fantastic young adults, two bonus exchange students and is happily married to a man obsessed with growing The Great Pumpkin.
