Summit County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a person of interest involved in the Sunday morning shooting in the county.
The Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that they arrested a 19-year-old from Taylorsville on Tuesday night.
On Sunday morning, deputies responded to a nightly rental where there was a reported party after receiving several calls about multiple gunshots heard in the Kimball Junction area.
The shooting left a Salt Lake Valley woman with non-life threatening injuries.
The sheriff’s office received an anonymous tip that Victor Pulido II was the alleged shooter.
Pulido was arrested with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated assault resulting in a serious bodily injury. He also received charges for carrying a concealed firearm and discharging a firearm. He is being held without bail at the Summit County Jail.
The investigation is still ongoing and the Summit County Sheriff’s office said they will continue to offer more information as it becomes available.
