All Things New For Park City Magazine, Including New Editor And New Event

Park City Magazine

Park City Magazine is hosting a brunch event this Saturday, between that and preparing for the next edition new editor Jane Gendron says she’s been quite busy.

Park City Magazine’s new editor Jane Gendron explains why she took the job.

“I have been freelancing for 20 years actually contributing to Park City Magazine while doing other jobs. Doing PR for Park City Institute and various other incarnations here in Park City. I’ve always loved the magazine it’s just a fabulous publication since its lodestar days.”

Gendron started her new position in July, she says the next publication will come out in early December.

“A little bit of catch-up but it’s a great team and Melissa really had things in order and its going great. Lots of things to look forward to but I’ll keep you surprised and on the edge of your seats. It’ll be a compilation of great features, and artist profiles, habitat, food and beverage and we might just have a glimpse of the World Championships coming.”

Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm, The magazine will be hosting their Inaugural Brunch at Altitude event at Summit Watch Plaza.

“The centerpiece will be the Bloody Mary Smackdown which is a competition between local mixologists. They’ll be judged by five or six judges including some of your city councilors and various other wonderful local characters. We also have live music, and lawn games, giant Jenga, cornhole, dressing up like a waffle. There will be this really cool photobooth where you can have breakfast in bed anywhere in the world. So, there’ll be a green screen with various spots and you can get your photo taken. Then of course there’s a silent auction for the Peace House. The proceeds will go to the Peace House and there’s some great items there.”

Admission is $35 although they also have VIP tickets. You can find out more on Park City Magazine .com
