Alterra Mountain Company has announced they've entered into an agreement to purchase Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington.
Alterra announced plans on Thursday to acquire the 2,600 acre property that borders Mt. Rainer National Park near Seattle.
The company says the sale is expected to close in time for the upcoming ski season, making the resort available for their 2019/2019 Ikon Pass. The company currently owns 13 resorts in the U.S. and Canada including Deer Valley. Alterra most recently acquired Solitude Mountain Resort.
