Beethoven Festival Hosts Final Summer Concert Today

Leslie Harlow / Beethoven Festival Park City

This afternoon is the final summer concert of this year’s Beethoven Festival Park City.

At 3 p.m. today, virtuoso concert pianist Stephen Beus will perform at the Eccles Center in Park City.

The festival, presented by the Park City Chamber Music Society, has held 13 concerts in Park City and three in Salt Lake City and Torrey this July and August leading up to today.

The in-person performances this year follow 80 free concert presentations in online formats since May of 2020. Performers have included artists from Utah, surrounding states and other countries.

In its 38th year, Beethoven Festival Park City is Utah’s oldest classical music festival. It has held over 800 concerts, according to Leslie Harlow, a spokesperson for the festival.
