An injured mountain biker was rescued Sunday by Wasatch County emergency medical personnel and search and rescue crews.

Dispatch received the 911 call just before 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Rescuers responded to an area above Wasatch Mountain State Park - on the WOW Trail - where the 49-year-old woman had crashed on her bike.

According to the Wasatch County Search and Rescue Facebook page, “the biker was transported via muscle power to the state park to the waiting ambulance.” Motorized 4x4s were used to haul responders up to the accident and used to haul down her bike.  There was no word on what injures the woman suffered – nor how she is recovering.
