Confirmed Cases Up To 135 In Summit County, 37 In Wasatch County On Saturday

The Utah Department of Health released newCOVID-19 numbers on Saturday. There are 602 confirmed cases statewide, up 122 from Friday.  Summit County now has 135 confirmed cases which is 25 more than Friday. Eight of the cases are visitors while the other 127 are residents. Wasatch County has 37 confirmed cases up 8 from Friday’s 29. Thirty-six are residents and one is a visitor. 

Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state with 279 up 58 from Friday. Summit County has the 2nd most in the state, Davis County has 59 confirmed cases. 

UDOH reports 11,312 people have been tested in Utah.  About 5% of those tests come back positive. Two Utahns have died as a result of COVID-19 an older woman under the age of 60 from Southwestern Utah and a Davis County man over the age of 60. Both had underlying health issues.
