Utah Department of Health released new numbers Friday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state.
There are 2,102 confirmed cases statewide, up 126 from Thursday. Summit County has 296 cases, an increase of seven from Thursday, and 24 patients have been hospitalized. Wasatch County has 96 confirmed cases, up eight from the day before. Five have been hospitalized.
Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 1,011. After Summit County, the county with the highest number of cases is Utah County, with 283 cases.
UDOH says 40,762 people have been tested in Utah. Four more deaths were reported on Friday for a total of 17 statewide.
