The Utah Department of Health reported that the state has crossed the 2 million mark for doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered.
With over 29,000 vaccine doses administered since Thursday, Utah has officially crossed the 2 million shot threshold for vaccinations.
To be exact, the Health Department reports 2,014,815 doses of Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines have been administered in the state. Nearly 1.2 million Utahns have received at least one dose and just shy of 800,000 people are considered to be fully vaccinated, according to the Health Department.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine advisory committee is currently meeting to determine if Johnson & Johnson vaccines should resume. Currently, there have been no serious symptoms from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine reported in Utah.
