Although there will not be a parade in Heber on the 4th of July, Heber residents are still celebrating Independence Day.
Heber City’s Old Fashion Fourth of July Celebration takes place at Main Street City Park located at 200 South Main Street.
From noon to 1:00 will be a free hotdog lunch.
At 1:00 pm Heber City Police and Wasatch County Fire Department will have a flag ceremony and public safety exhibits. Those exhibits will also be accompanied by an outdoor market and a variety of old-fashioned games. Activities include three legged races, gunny sack races, an egg toss, watermelon and pie eating contests
Live entertainment will include a shootout performance, and music from local band SummerFrost and Harry Lee and the Back Alley Blues Band throughout the afternoon.
