KPCW's Interviews With Park City Council Candidates

Seven Park City residents are running for three city council seats opening in 2020. The primary election on Aug. 13 will narrow the seven candidates down to six before the municipal general election on Nov. 5.

Vote-by-mail ballots for the primary election have been sent out to registered voters.  In addition to mailing ballots or dropping them off at an official ballot dropbox, residents can also cast their vote in person, as well as registering to vote, Aug. 13 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Park City Municipal Building, located at 445 Marsac Ave. More elections and voting information is available at the Summit County Clerk's website.

Emily Means hadn’t intended to be a journalist, but after two years of studying chemistry at the University of Utah, she found her fit in the school’s communication program.
