Local News Hour- June 1, 2018

  On today's Local News Hour guest host Carolyn Murray updates the mountain trail conditions with a call in interview from Laura of the Mountain Trails Foundation.  Republican Congressman John Curtis talks about his time in Washington D.C. representing the 3rd District.  He is running against Chris Herrod who is challenging him in the June 26th Republican Primary Election. Park City Mayor Andy Beerman gives an update on Thursday's City Council Meeting covering the issues of social equity, homelessness in Park City, transit programs and the Historic Preservation Awards. And a final interview with The Park City Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau Representative, Heather Cook talking about the Summer Activities Expo on Tuesday, June 5th from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Doubletree Hotel on Park  Avenue.

KPCW reporter Carolyn Murray covers Summit and Wasatch County School Districts. She also reports on wildlife and environmental stories, along with breaking news. Carolyn has been in town since the mid ‘80s and raised two daughters in Park City.
