There were some fireworks on hand during the Summit County Council's discussion Wednesday with the East Side Planning Commission. Recently, a majority of the East Side Commission voted to schedule a couple of public hearings about their Highway Corridor zone, which was rezoned in the 2004 Development Code. Council Chair Claudia McMullin took some East Side Commissioners to the woodshed over that - in particular Mike Brown - saying they're detouring from the General Plan and Code update process to talk about specific zoning.
