Monday COVID-19 Update: Utah County Surpasses Summit County Cases

Utah Department of Health released new numbers Monday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state. 

 

There are 2,363 confirmed cases statewide, up 60 from Sunday. Summit County has 306 cases, an increase of two from Sunday, and 26 patients have been hospitalized, up one from Sunday. Wasatch County has 103 confirmed cases, the same as the day before. Five have been hospitalized.   

 

Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 1,157. Utah county now has the second most cases in the state with 322, Summit County has the third most. 

 

UDOH says 45,787 people have been tested in Utah. 18 residents have died as a result of COVID-19. The department also added that 218 individuals have recovered from COVID-19.
