The Park City Farmers Market opens for business on Wednesday at the Silver King Lot in Park City. The weekly market will open an hour early for seniors at 11am and the general public will be able to shop from 12pm-5pm every Wednesday until the market closes in October.
Farmers markets were deemed an essential part of local food systems by the Department of Agriculture in April and this year’s market will be following the new social distancing guidelines already in place at several markets in the Salt Lake area. Cashless transactions and mask wearing is strongly recommended.
Due to safety precautions, only food vendors will be present at this year’s market. No jewelry or arts and crafts vendors will be doing business in 2020.
