Park City fire crews responded to a fire on Homestake Road Tuesday Morning.
According to the Park City Fire District, emergency crews were called to a multi-family structure fire on Homestake Road just after 8am Tuesday morning.
Several fire engines, an ambulance, and the Park City Police Department were all at the scene. According to the fire district, the building was evacuated and the fire was quickly contained.
The district said the fire was located in the building’s fire chase.
Park City Police said the initial call to Homestake was to respond to a property dispute between several roommates. The individuals involved were interviewed and one was cited and released. The department said the fire in the fireplace was left unattended and caused the condo to catch on fire.
According to the department, officers then cleared the surrounding units and the fire was extinguished.
