The Park City School District launched a COVID-19 dashboard this week to provide daily information to students, teachers, and parents during the ongoing pandemic.
PCSD’s COVID-19 dashboard went live on Friday and will provide information on COVID-19 case numbers as well as COVID-19 related absences for each of the seven schools in the district.
Data is to be updated on a nightly basis and replaces a spreadsheet previously used by the district to provide information on COVID-19 in schools.
Some members of the public had expressed frustration on social media about the inconsistency of updates on the spreadsheet. District Superintendent Jill Gildea responded to say she hopes the dashboard will be a reliable resource for the community to look at current virus trends as the school year continues.
The data compiled on the dashboard comes from each school site’s point of contact as well as via the HealthAttend portal.
