Two motorists were hospitalized this weekend after a single-car accident was discovered near Interstate 80 at Lamb’s Canyon.
The Utah Highway Patrol reported that apparently, early on Saturday morning, a Ford F250 truck was traveling westbound on I-80 and veered into the median.
It crashed between the two bridges at Lamb’s Canyon, went airborne, and came to rest on its top on Lamb’s Canyon Road.
Two people who were out for a morning run reported the crash at 6:00 am.
The two occupants of the truck, males in their 30’s, were wearing seat belts, but they sustained critical injuries. One was transported to an area hospital by air, the other on the ground.
The Highway Patrol said the vehicle was stolen and they’re investigating if impairment contributed to the crash.
