Sundance Reel Weekend - January 27, 2019

KPCW's Rick Brough and John Burdick host the #TheSundanceReel Weekend today, dipping into the narrative category.

First up is May el-Toukhy and Trine Dyrholm from "Queen of Hearts", then Stanley Nelson joins the guys to talk about "Miles Davis: The Birth of Cool", followed by Ross Kauffman of "Tigerland". Finishing up the first hour is an iunnterview with Jacob Estes of "Relive".

In the second hour, Rick and John talk with actor-turned-director Chiwetel Ejiofor about "The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind", Andrew Hormann and Anna Samo talk about their animated short "Obon", and filmmaker/photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders discusses "Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am". Wrapping up the show is Nisha Ganatra, director of "Late Night".
