A 13 year old girl went missing from the Homestead Resort Saturday afternoon in Midway.

According to social media post from the girls family and friends. The 13-year-old, Anika Bird, was swimming with her grandfather and brother at the Midway resort. She told the two she was going to the car around 1:00 pm but did not come back.

Bird is reportedly 5’4 tall and around 110 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and ripped blue jeans.
