Two More COVID-19 Fatalities in Utah

Utah Department of Healthreleased new numbersSaturday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state.

There are 2931 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide, up 126 from Friday. Summit County has 316 cases, up five from Friday. Thirty-one patients have been hospitalized. Wasatch County has 109 confirmed cases, up six from Friday. Six have been hospitalized.

Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 1,547. Utah County has the second highest number of confirmed cases at 417.  Summit County has the third most confirmed cases of any county in the state.

UDOH says 59,944 people have been tested in Utah.  Two more residents have died from COVID-19, bring the total number of fatalities to 25 in Utah. One was a female Utah County resident who was older than 60 and died in a hospital. The other fatality was a male Salt Lake County resident who was also older than 60 with unknown hospitalization status.
