Utah Department of Health released new numbers Wednesday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state.
There are 6,620 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide, up 188 since Tuesday. Summit County has 392cases up four since Tuesday. Wasatch County has 185 confirmed cases, up one since Tuesday. Each county had one additional hospitalization for a total of 34 in Summit County and eight in Wasatch.
Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 3,530. Utah County has the second most cases in the state with 1,400, Summit County has the third most. 553 people have been hospitalized statewide, although there are only 99 patients currently hospitalized.
UDOH says 156,786 people have been tested in Utah. 75 residents have died as a result of COVID-19, an additional two since Tuesday.
