Public Service Announcements are announcements about the programs and activities of non-profit organizations only in KPCW’s broadcast area of Summit and Wasatch counties.

All PSAs & Community Calendar Events will be available on our website, and read by our on-air volunteer DJs and show hosts, for up to two weeks.  Each non-profit organization can have up to three PSAs total (Events and Programs) announced at one time. Non-profits can purchase additional spots from our Underwriting Department. Please allow one business day for your PSA to be approved to air. KPCW reserves the right to edit content for reading ease, length, appropriateness or FCC rules.

Although the Senior Centers are closed, curbside meals are being served at each center on the schedule below.   Please call by 9:30 am on the day of scheduled lunch to reserve your meal.  Park City - Mondays and Thursdays from 12:45 pm- 1:30 pm, 435-649-7261.  North Summit- Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:00 pm-12:30 pm, 435-336-2622.  South Summit- Mondays and Thursdays from 12:00 pm-12:30 pm, 435-783-4311.  During this time of uncertainty, if you are aware of anyone 60 years or older in need, please contact Jessica Wilde, Senior Director,

The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is asking the public to process their motor vehicle renewals online.   Although certain vehicles may not be eligible for online renewal, the majority of vehicles can be renewed by using an On the SPOT renewal station or online via Renewal Express.  Visit dmv.utah.gov for a list of On the SPOT renewal stations near you or to connect to Renewal Express.

Summit County has activated a text message service for COVID-19 updates.  Sign up by texting "COVID19SC" TO 888777.  This is a one-way communication platform. Replies will not be received.

The Clerk’s office will have limited staff. Office hours are between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. All passport services are temporallysuspended. Marriage Licenses are by appointment only. For appointments or questions, call  435-336-3204.  

 

Summit County Clubhouse has reopened and is following the Summit County Health Department Guidelines: all members, staff and guests will be required to wear masks while at the Clubhouse; no more than 20 individuals at any given time; 6-foot physical distancing;  disinfecting and cleaning  surfaces throughout the day; daily symptoms screening and individuals who are not feeling well will be asked not to attend the Clubhouse. Summit County Clubhouse is a free, supportive community for adults (age 18+) living with a mental health diagnosis.

 The NAMI response to the COVID-19 emergency includes the following actions. 1) The NAMI Mentor phone line will continue operations from 9 am to 4:15 pm Monday through Friday. (801) 323-9900 or (877) 230-6264. 2. All NAMI Education Classes and Support Groups are suspended until further notice.  3. NAMI Utah office will be closed until further notice.  

Narcotics Anonymous, a 12-step fellowship for anyone struggling with addiction,  is holding meetings online.  The schedule for meetings and the directions for joining them are available on sasquatchareana.org/meetings. For more information, call the local helpline at 435-200-4814. The Sasquatch Area of Narcotics Anonymous serves Wasatch and Summit Counties.
