The Summit County Council approved a letter expressing the council’s support for bringing the Winter Olympic Games back to Utah in 2030 or 2034.

It’s seemingly becoming nearly impossible to find any place, outside of Salt Lake City, that truly wants to host these events.

With Utah one of four locations under consideration to host the 2030 Olympics, international planners visited local venues and advised the state Games committee on how to get the bid. One focus was how to incorporate the Mayflower Mountain Resort.
