The Park City Community Foundation is partnering with Holy Cross Ministries and PC Tots to expand affordable, quality childcare in the Park City area. Their goal is to raise $1 million over the next two years.

Their two-year plan is to gather early child development experts to help define the community’s childcare needs. They’ll also be hiring a person with expertise to help define the strategic goals for building a broader non-profit early child program.

On today’s program, Park City Public Utilities Director Clint McAffee has a mid-summer water update and the latest about the Three Kings Water Treatment plant. Park City Community Foundation Executive Director Katie Wright and Executive Director of PC Tots  Carol Loomis have details about the Early Childhood Initiative and their ambitious goals for the next two years and Park City Special Events Manager Jenny Diersen previews the parking and traffic impacts for this weekend’s Kimball Arts Festival.

The Park City rotary Club has named PC Tots Executive Director, Carol Loomis as Volunteer Citizen of the Year.  Kpcw's Melissa Allison brings us the story.
