We spend the hour with Chuy Chacon, Artistic Director for Ballet Folklorico de Roy Lozano in Texas. We discuss the challenges of maintaining the historical and traditional accuracy in folkloric Mexican dance due to the living and ever-changing indigenous cultures.

The Institute for Mexicans in the Exterior (IME) from the Mexican government recently held a contest for filmakers of Mexican descent living outside that country on what it means to live outside of México. Alfredo Castro's submission "Recordando a México" was chosen as the best entry out of over 400 entries. The short film focuses on the flavors, sounds, smells, and colors that Mexican nationals in the exterior may miss and remember.
