The Park City Board unanimously approved Dr. Jill Gildea to be the new Superintendent replacing Ember Conley who did not renew her contract with the school district in 2017.  Dr. Gildea most recently was head of the Greenwich Public School System in Connecticut.  Carolyn Murray has this:

School Board Is Hiring

The Park City School District is interviewing superintendent candidates on Saturday and they’re in the midst of a hiring frenzy for many other openings. There are 13 positions already approved for next year and administrators are hoping for school board approval for another seven new Interventionist and vice principal positions.  On May 1, Interim Superintendent David Gomez announced two administrative appointments for the 2018-19 school year. The Park City School Board plans to have a preliminary budget ready for public view by their June 5 meeting. They have three or four budget line items that still need to be approved that will involve substantial expense to the district. Carolyn Murray has details:

Outgoing Park City School District Superintendent Ember Conley is transitioning to her new job in Mesa, Arizona. The district's interim superintendent, David Gomez, is moving to the position from his principal's office at Parley's Park Elementary. Gomez said he took the job because he wants to help the team, and because he believes it's going to be a good experience. Rick Brough reports:
