Last week, the Park City Education Foundation raised $200,000 during this year’s Live PC Give PC day of giving. They simultaneously launched a new educators wellness program in response to a year of great stress and challenge.

Park City Education Foundation Executive Director Abby McNulty says teachers continue to deal with extraordinary challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. They surveyed teachers and have a task force in place to work on rolling out support initiatives in all seven Park City schools.

 Each year, the Park City Education Foundation celebrates one peer selected educator from each school to win the Excellent Educator Award. The revelry includes, a jazz band, family and friends, a big cake and lots of accolades for the winners.

Every year the Park City Education Foundation   provides grants to district teachers for innovative program ideas.  They’ve been able to fund $82,000 for the 2017/18 school year. Deer Valley hosted a PCEF reception where teachers showcased some of their projects to Ed Foundation donors.  Carolyn Murray has this:
