The St. Lawrence Thrift Store in Heber is OPEN!  Wednesday through Friday 10am to 6 pm.; Sat. 10-5Everyone will be required to wear a face mask. The Park City Donation Center is in the back of St. Mary's in Old Town Park City and is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 3pm.  To arrange pick up of  gently used furniture and appliances in Park City and Heber, call 435-657-0209.

The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is asking the public to process their motor vehicle renewals online.   Although certain vehicles may not be eligible for online renewal, the majority of vehicles can be renewed by using an On the SPOT renewal station or online via Renewal Express.  Visit dmv.utah.gov for a list of On the SPOT renewal stations near you or to connect to Renewal Express.

Spend 20-30 minutes with a kind, patient, professional writer. First come, first serve. Every first Wednesday of the month from 3 to 5 p.m. Free.

Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday, March 8, at 2 AM. Set your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night. This is also a great time to check your smoke detectors.

Hope Alliance will be returning to Haiti in October and is collecting gently used sneakers and back backs to distribute to 3 schools in rural communities surrounding Camatin, Haiti. These are for poorest of the poor school children aged 5-17 who would otherwise not have the ability to buy these items.  August 28 - September 11, you can drop off items at Basin Rec Field House (Redstone), The PC MARC (Little Kate Road), Creekside Christian Church (Bitner Rd.) and Park City Community Church (HWY 224). Summit County invites you to visit a home in Trailside that installed solar through Summit Community Solar bulk-purchase program.  Stop by on August 7 between 5 and 7 PM to ask the owners about energy cost savings and their experience with Summit Community Solar.  Representatives of the selected contractor, Alpenglow Solar will be present to answer technical questions and explain how the Summit Community Solar bulk-purchase program works.
