vaccine

Vaccine registration is now open to individuals 18 years or older. Summit County vaccine clinics currently have Moderna and Johnson and Johnson (18+) vaccines. Individuals 16-17 years of age must register for the Pfizer vaccine at a participating Wasatch Front clinic. Go to summitcountyhealth.org for more information and to register.

Wasatch County residents who are 50 and older now qualify to receive COVID19 vaccine through the Wasatch County Health Department. Individuals 16 -50 years with certain conditions will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine on March 24.   Make an appointment at coronavirus.wasatch.utah.gov or visit coronavirus.utah.gov/vaccine-distribution to find other providers. The Wasatch County Health Department will begin scheduling appointments for registrants in this group on March 24.

The Summit County Health Department is asking the residents to be patient with the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine, which has been sluggish so far.

Deputy Health Director Phil Bondurant says the department shares the frustration since it’s getting a limited amount of vaccines. And in the meantime, Gov. Spencer Cox has modified his priorities policy to vaccinate everyone in the state over the age of 70.
