We are  talking traffic and taxes with Park City Mayor Jack Thomas and

Summit County Council Chairman Roger Armstrong.     After a joint meeting last night, the city council and county council decided to look at  two new taxes to help finance transportation improvements in the Park City area.   That’s at 8:15.

Then , Park City Planning Commissioners Preston Campbell and Laura Suesser will be here to talk about the Alice Claim project – a proposal for nine single family lots at the top of Old Town, above the intersection of King Road and Ridge and Sampson Avenues.  The Planning Commission gave it a negative recommendation last August.   But last night there was another vote.  We’ll find out what happened.

There are more than 500 kids in the Park City area who need your help to get what they need for the next school year.   Folks from the Park City Christian Center will be here to talk about “Back 2 School Basics” and how you can get involved.

And finally,  it’s a “first” for the Sundance Film Institute – they’re showing a 3-D movie outside at City Park tomorrow night.  We’ll hear about the movie, and the technology behind it.
