Wednesday, December 21, is officially the shortest day of the year, just one second shorter than the day before. And as it has become a custom, with each winter solstice, Brian McInerney joins Chris and guest co-host Carolyn Murray to discuss our local and regional weather and climate. He joins us to discuss this past autumn’s weather – just how warm it was – and how Mother Nature’s snow making machine is performing to date. Then in the second half of the show they speak with Kate Bowman with Utah Clean Energy.  The Utah solar industry is under threat with Rocky Mountain Powers recent proposal to increase both fixed and operational fees on individual solar systems.
