Tuesday COVID-19 Update

Utah Department of Health released new numbers Tuesday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state.

   

There are 6,432 6,362 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide, up 70 since Monday. Summit County has 388 cases up two since Monday. Wasatch County has 184 confirmed cases, up one since Monday. No new hospitalizations occurred in either county since May 1.    

Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 3,414. Utah County has the second most cases in the state with 1,365, Summit County has the third most. 535 people have been hospitalized statewide, although there are only 99 patients currently hospitalized.   

UDOH says 153,485 people have been tested in Utah. 73 residents have died as a result of COVID-19, an additional five since Monday.
