Summit County Search and Rescue reported Monday that they're searching for an adult male east of the Rockport Reservoir.
A press release from the Summit County Sheriff said they're trying to find 20-yeard-old Halden Efren, who got into a verbal confrontation with a female companion while camping at Rockport on Sunday. He walked away at about 10 AM and hasn't been seen since. Friends thought he had walked away to cool off, but reported him as missing when he didn't return.
Efren has only been in the U.S. for a month, and does not have his passport or any money with him.
About 20 members of Search and Rescue and a helicopter from the Department of Public Safety were engaged in the search.
Efren is described as 5-foot-5, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, gray shorts, a baseball hat with a Chicago Bulls logo, sandals and a small backpack.
