ASCU - Wolf Mountain Lawsuit Back in Court

Opposing lawyers went to Third District Court last week to argue a lawsuit that is still pending after four years - an outgrowth of a trial in 2011, when the then operator of the Canyons, American Skiing Company of Utah, won a massive jury award against Wolf Mountain, the principal owner there. Afterwards, ASCU attorneys filed suit, alleging that the principals of Wolf Mountain carried out an insider land sale to keep a subdivison property at Canyons out of the jury award,d After arguments last week, Judge Paige Petersen didn't make a decision, but a ruling is scheduled for this week.
