Now that the Republican presidential debate scheduled for March 21st in Salt Lake City has been canceled, the Utah Republican Party has announced it will extend the online registration deadline for the caucus on March 22nd. The new deadline is midnight, Thursday, March 17th. The party says the extension is "due to overwhelming public interest in the debate and the Presidential Caucus." *Clarification: For the Democratic caucus, if you are not a registered voter, you can register to vote at the caucus on March 22nd. There is no earlier deadline to participate. Please make sure you bring an ID to the caucus to register.
