Utah’s Republican controlled legislature has set a precedent in moving to repeal language that currently bans advocacy for LGBTQ students in public schools. The anti-discrimination Senate Bill 196 passed 24 to 1 out of the Senate on Wednesday. Now it goes to The House Education Committee for a hearing, followed by two floor votes.
