Officials estimate more than 1,000 people gathered at the top of Main Street joining in the March for Our Lives. Although the march was coordinated solely by students, the protest wasn’t limited to teenagers. There were people using canes and pushing strollers as the crowd walked Main Street down to City Park. They carried signs and chanted in support of the nationwide effort to put an end to school shootings. Carolyn Murray has this:
