A bicyclist was hit by a car in Old Town this weekend. The cyclist went over the hood of a car after the car turned left at the intersection of Park Ave and 7th Street.
The accident happened on Sunday around 4 p.m.
Phil Kirk with the Park City Police Department said it appears that the cyclist had the right of way.
The driver of the car is from out of state. He said he didn’t see the cyclist. Kirk said it’s possible the driver was using his GPS and wasn’t focused on the road.
The bicyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
