Park City Farmers Market

The Park City Farmers Market is looking to purchase land to make its permanent home.

The Park City Farmers Market has been a community staple for over 20 years. Each summer, the market provides locals and guests an opportunity to purchase organic, locally-grown produce at the base of Park City Mountain Resort.

Now, the market is searching for a permanent home.

The market says they have to secure the location each year and feel a more permanent home would best serve the community and help ensure access to the market for future generations.

Earlier this week, the market launched a GoFundMe page with the goal of raising $1.75 million in order to purchase their own commercial property.

According to the market, they are looking for land close to a main highway in an area that is easily accessible for everyone.

The farmers market was able to operate in a limited capacity last summer amid the COVID-19 pandemic and is scheduled to open on May 19th this year.
