Our guest is Dr. Christy Kane, a licensed mental health counselor who practices in Utah County and in Salt Lake. Dr. Kane works with adults and teenagers and offers an interactive workshop regarding how the electronic world we live in creates addiction and affects the neurological development of the human brain. She gives evidence-based research on brain functioning, how electronics impact neurotransmitters in the brain, and how to mitigate the effects of electronic addiction. She will speak at the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library, Monday, December 10 from 6-8pm.
