The 2021 water year is off to a poor start in Utah’s Valley locations, with most basins recording no accumulated precipitation during the month of October. In fact, almost 30% of the state is in the Exceptional Drought or worse category, according to the November Water and Climate Reportput together by the Utah Snow Survey and Natural Resources Conservation Service.
