Center For Biological Diversity's Scott Lake Updates On Violations of The Endangered Species Act

In this episode of This Green Earth Nell and guest co-host Katy Wang's guest is Nevada Legal Advocate Scott Lake for the Center for Biological Diversity. The Center for Biological Diversity is an organization that works to prevent extinctions.  Scott shared the details on the suit that his organization brough against the Trump administration in partnership with other conservation groups.  Two last minute decisions from the administration allow widespread clearcutting, herbicide spraying, grazing and other actions throughout the Great Basin that Scott and his team say violate the Endangered Species Act by disregarding the 130 threatened and endangered species that inhabit the area.
