Governor Cox has issued his third executive order relating to current drought conditions in Utah. 100% of the state is in drought. 2020 was the driest year on record and one of the hottest. The snowpack topped out early at 81%. Streams are at 50% of normal and some reservoirs could run dry. We can all do our part to conserve water. Northern Utahans should water only 2 days a week and focus on shrubs and trees. Wash only full loads of dirty dishes and clothes. For many more helpful conservation actions, go to SlowTheFlow.org.
