Lynn and John’s first guest this morning is Dr. Dalia Kirschbaum, Research Physical Scientist and GPM Applications Scientist at NASA Goddard. GPM stands for the Global Precipitation and Measurement Satellite. The GPM is an international satellite mission to provide next-generation observations of rain and snow worldwide every three hours. The 2nd guest this morning is Bill Andrews who is the Senior Associate Editor for Discover Magazine. Every year at this time Discover publishes their pick of the top 100 science stories of 2016. We look forward to this conversation every year as we take a look at a handful of the top 100, their relevance in 2016 and where they may take us in the future.
