Utah Department of Health released new numbers Friday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state.
There are 4,828 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide, up 156 from Thursday. Summit County has 373 cases, up four from Thursday. Thirty-three patients have been hospitalized, an increase of one. Wasatch County has 155 confirmed cases, up seven since Thursday. Seven have been hospitalized.
Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 2,526. Utah County has the second most cases in the state with 993, Summit County has the third most. 403 people have been hospitalized statewide.
UDOH says 112,558 people have been tested in Utah. 46 residents have died as a result of COVID-19.
